Our Mission
Bringing women together to step into our collective power and change the discourse of menopause.
With over 45 million women entering menopause every year and less than 10% getting help, this is a crisis.
PAUZ is driven by a powerful mission to change the landscape for aging women where we are no longer silenced and dismissed.
Our Story
Like all women, PAUZ founder Dr. Natalie Perkins has worn many hats through her life: professional, student, mother, competitive athlete, volunteer. She found herself lost when she started to notice changes happening to her body, mind and spirit.
At first, she blamed herself, but as she dove into the science and found an amazing provider who changed her fear mindset on hormone therapy, her symptoms resolved, and her advocacy was ignited. Gathering like-minded leaders, PAUZ was founded to be the place for women to get ahead of their health and get out of the chaos and confusion to find clarity, access and support.
“Women may spend 40% of their lives in menopause, we deserve to be heard, we deserve timely access to effective care. Perimenopause is a time to invest in ourselves. Let's grab life by the ovaries.”
