Dr. Shea is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Psychiatry at McMaster University. She completed her fellowship in Menopause and Reproductive Mental Health and her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Toronto.
She is a board member for the Canadian Menopause Society and part of the medical advisory board for the Menopause Society of Canada. Dr. Shea is a Menopause Society certified menopause practitioner and part of their education and examination committees.
Dr. Shea has a unique expertise as she has completed additional training in reproductive mental health as well as PhD in Neuroscience & Behavioural Science.
