PAUZ founder Natalie has worn many hats throughout her life: professional, student, mother, competitive athlete, and volunteer. She found herself lost when she started to notice changes happening to her body, mind, and spirit. At first, she blamed herself, and as she dove into the science, she found an amazing provider who changed her fear mindset on hormone therapy. Her symptoms resolved, and her advocacy was ignited.
Confident it was not just her and the situation is an unacceptable epidemic, Natalie left her leadership position at a major telemedicine company to start PAUZ. The evolution of her personal experiences in competitive athletics, nutrition and her professional career grounded in health care spanning from commercial to marketing to product development and analytics, including in the start-up domain, provides a unique and multi-disciplinary perspective on the challenges women face during menopause.
The inclusion of Natalie’s background as a behavioral health scientist with a PhD in Public Health and an Ironman athlete dealing with multiple injuries and health issues adds to her drive to eliminate the silos in health care and integrate behavioral science to enable real change in health care.
